- Abstract
In upholding law and justice, the role of judges has a central position. However, making it a central position is still required to place it as an Institution that plays an active role in its efforts to uphold such a position with certainty within the scope of an independent and honourable judicial power. Several reports each year show an increase in the integrity of judges. Although the report cannot yet be said to be a violation, the report shows a lack of trust in the judicial process carried out by Supreme Court judges. This potential makes the logic of the role of supervision necessary. So far, there have been two supervisions carried out, namely the Judicial Commission carrying out external supervision and the Supreme Court supervisory body carrying out internal supervision. Strengthening both forms of supervision must be maximized in order to provide legal certainty and justice for justice seekers.
