- Abstract
This research generally aims to civilize noble characters in SMP Khadijah students in learning Bahasa Indonesia through audio-visual media. The research in this article aims to describe the dimensions of noble characters in SMP Khadijah students: religious characters, personal characters, humane characters, nature-caring characters, and national characters. Overall, this research used a Research and Development (R&D) method. The type of research in this article was ethnographic qualitative. This research took place at SMP Khadijah Pesawaran, Lampung. Data was collected using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis and then analyzed reciprocally. Research data validation was carried out by source and time triangulation. This research shows that the habituation of SMP Khadijah students forms a noble character civilization through audio-visual media.
