- Abstract
Industrial growth in Indonesia opens opportunities for UKM to grow. Company performance is measured based on the ability to create an effective and efficient process. To eliminate all waste that is considered not to provide added value to the product, some companies will implement lean manufacturing. One of the lean manufacturing approaches is Value Stream Mapping (VSM). CV. RB is an UKM engaged in the production of wooden-based dollhouses, this company has several workers with disabilities. In the interim observations it was identified that in the production of a doll house the activities that did not provide added value were: waiting, taking materials or tools, reprocessing and moving materials. This research focused on the production process time of CV. RB and work elements of the painting workstation. The analysis used in this study was Non-value added (NVA) and non-value added necessary (NVAN) analysis. Based on observations on the production floor there was a waste of time in the process of painting. Waste contained in the painting section were waiting and processing.
