Abstract

During covid-19 pandemic, online learning is popular used by educators teaching learning process. Online learning is one of media that can be used in different place and time. It is helpful for the teachers to give an English lesson during learning from home in accordance with current government policy. This research is descriptive research. The aims of this research is to find out students’ perception and their English achievement of online class during covid-19. The result from this research showed that 22,10% of students were strongly agree about the advantages of online learning during covid-19. This result of data analysis showed that online learning is useful during learning English during covid-19 at. The percentage of students’ perception were 14,30 % were strongly agree that there were challenges of using online learning. It showed that students have problem in adapting the online learning in English lessons.
