Abstract

In this experiment(N=69), we investigated the learning effect of static graphic vs. animation, as well as the effect of user-control dynamic presentation. The results show that system-control animation has the highest cognitive load and the worst learning effect. The learning outcome of static picture and user-control animation are all better than system-control animation.
