- Abstract
The mechanical properties of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) on glass substrates prepared by 0.3mol/L oxalic acid solution are investigated by nanoindentation. The micro hardness, friction coefficient and Young’s modulus are all associated with the porosity. The substrate is an important factor of the mechanical properties of AAO. The research shows that the mechanical property of AAO on glass substrates is a little higher than that of AAO on aluminum foil.
