Abstract

Handwriting signature is an important approach for biometric personal identification. In this paper, a new method is provided to extract signature characteristic through wavelet transform. At first, a series of 4th order B-spline wavelet is constructed on the basis of B-spline function. After applying wavelet transform to each stroke, stable signature character is synthesized. The performance of derived method is demonstrated by computer simulations.
