- Abstract
As China's economic development, social demand for electricity continues to increase, while the primary energy to the unbalanced distribution of electricity load centers resulted in our country needs long-distance, high-capacity transmission. To improve power quality, series capacitor compensation as a relatively mature technology, improve power quality, an important means to solve the problem of low voltage. Compensation capacitor in series access undermine the uniformity of the transmission line impedance, change the distribution system each point current and voltage, so bring some impact on transmission line protection.
