Abstract

The advent of the era of knowledge economy not only brings opportunities for the rapid development of the economy, but also makes our country and society face the challenge of shortage of innovative application talents. After years of development, innovation and entrepreneurship education has become a hot topic in college education. At present, there are a series of problems that many colleges and universities in the process of carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education have been constrained by many factors such as shortage of funds, curriculum setting, strength of teachers, and practice platforms. Through the research on the status quo and problems of innovation and entrepreneurship education for undergraduate college students in applied local universities, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions such as changing educational concepts, establishing curriculum system, establishing long-term mechanism, expanding practice base, strengthening teachers and so forth.
