Abstract

Choose the aluminum borate whisker (40wt%) reinforced aluminum phosphate composite material, molding under the pressure of 100 MPa and 200 MPa, and sintered at 1050øC, 1100øC, 1150øC, 1200øC, 1250øC, 1300øC, 1350øC, then test the flexural strength, Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of composites. The results show that the flexural strength, Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of the sample increase first and then decrease with the increase of sintering temperature; at the same sintering temperature, the mechanical properties of the sample under 200MPa are better than that of the sample under 100MPa.
