Abstract

This article is based on the importance of learning based on multicultural understanding in the learning process of writing scientific works for students. The purpose of the research is to study the values of multicultural education and linguistic politeness in the learning process of writing scientific works in the Indonesian language course of Buddhist college students in Central Java. The results of the student paper research contain the values of multicultural learning. The forms of linguistic politeness in writing papers learning process are the expressions of language accepting the existence of diversity in students, a sense of concern, politeness, tolerance, mutual respect, unity, cooperation, and the importance of justice.
