- Abstract
This is a content analysis research explaining the values of leadership in a puppet show entitled Bisma Gugur by Ki Manteb Soedarsono. The data of the research are taken from 8 recording cassettes containing conversation and ada-ada from the performance. There are three steps for collecting the research data. They are listening, writing and grouping. The analysis of the data applies a comparative-inductive technique by categorizing, studying, tabulating, and inverting. This research applies semantic validity and interrater reliability for data validation. This research found that there are five different features of leadership reflected in Bisma Gugur story. These characteristics include remembering God, being wise, being able to control desire, being fair, and being a patient human.
