- Abstract
The study of Democratization and Human Rights has the background that democratization and Human Rights are two species that move towards each other (reciprocity), and now as part of global politics, provide the consequences of recognition and protection for countries in the world. In historical records, Indonesia has a problem of human rights violations that are still largely unresolved. The existence of the institution of the Human Rights Court, the National Human Rights Commission and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, needs to be examined for its implementation in solving human rights violations. This research used the normative juridical method, because it only tested the validity of laws and regulations. The results of his research, apparently have not shown good performance, the ongoing practice of democratization does not have a positive correlation with respect for human rights.
