Abstract

At present, on the short video platform represented by Douyin, “knowledge Internet celebrities” continue to develop and grow, and knowledge video content is forming a boom. This paper takes Douyin as the research object, explores the learning mechanism behind Douyin, explores the application advantages and feasibility of Douyin in college English teaching, and puts forward specific application strategies and problems needing attention in view of how to make better use of the advantages of the short video platform Douyin in college English teaching, providing new ideas for the innovation of college English teaching methods.
