Abstract

Urban memory is the cognition and reconstruction of the whole image of the past city, and its expression carrier is the exhibition and storage of archival resources of urban memory, namely the historical records with preservation value formed in the process of urban construction, management, change and development.Urban memory is an important cultural symbol bearing the image of a city. The construction of urban memory is not only conducive to enhancing citizens’ sense of belonging and identity, but also an important means to establish and publicize the image of a city.The application of digital interactive technology in urban memory is to build a basic platform of social living state memory on the basis of respecting its true nature.Strengthen the digital memory project, rely on the modern digital media technology, with the help of scientific and technological means to provide a new idea and positioning for urban memory, based on this social development background on the application of digital interaction design in urban memory research.
