Abstract

The article selects the covers of VOGUE magazine from 2005 to 2022 as the sample for analysis. The analysis includes the gender, age, ethnicity, identity, skin exposure and individual or group relationship of the cover characters, so as to analyze the changes of the cover characters of women’s fashion magazines and discover the patterns of the characters’ changes and the social factors and cultural connotations behind them.
