- Abstract
After the American sitcom was introduced to China, it went through three periods of change. Known as “the father of Chinese sitcoms”, Ying Da introduced American sitcoms, mainly relying on “verbal jokes” to establish the “Ying’s sitcom” model; the era of “Shang’s sitcom”, represented by Shang Jing, achieved a breakthrough in the transformation of localization, expanded the shooting scene of classic sitcoms, and added a rich postmodern color to it; then, Wei Zheng combined sitcoms with idol dramas in “iPartment”, from which combining sitcoms with other genres has being predominate.
