The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 9 companies. Data analysis technique using descriptive with Excel. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that overall, the calculation of the Z-score using the Altman method or formula stated that during the study period of the 9 (nine) manufacturing companies in the packaging and plastics industry, not all companies were in good health, there were several companies that experienced declines and increases. Quite significantly, there are also companies that have consistently been able to survive the economic turmoil in the plastics industry.
