Abstract

This article makes an attempt to approach, in a systematical way, the proposition of supplying models of public goods. The author first discusses the connotation of public goods, pointing out that those goods in association with helping social vulnerable groups are belonging to public goods. Following on, with a comprehensive literature survey relating to the theory of supplying of public goods and based on the ideas of Gidron and Wuthnow, the author suggests and justifies a five-dimension model for supplying of public goods, which will act for development forecast and as theoretical guidelines for the supplying of public goods in solving problems associated with urbanization, aging, social vulnerable groups helping and the people's livelihood within the new turn reform of China.
