- Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a driver of innovation in a rapidly evolving technological landscape across a wide range of industries, and the gaming industry is at the forefront of these advances. The aim of this paper is to explore the wide range of applications and potential uses of AI in games, with a particular focus on key technologies such as Deep Learning Super sampling (DLSS) and Large-Scale Language Models (LLMs), where DLSS improves the visual effects and performance of games by increasing image quality and frame rate, and LLMs revolutionize game narratives through dynamic dialog systems and the understanding of natural language. The analysis covers AI’s contributions to screen generation, performance enhancement, artistic expression, game dialogue generation and player behavior analysis, highlighting the potential for more immersive and personalized game experiences. In addition, the paper discusses the ethical and practical challenges associated with integrating AI into games, such as data privacy issues and the need to balance automation with human creativity.
