- Abstract
The authors retrospectively studied the data of 48 hospitals in St. Petersburg on urinary tract infections associated with bladder catheterization. The results of the introduction in medical organizations of an active epidemiological observation of the outcomes of treating patients with identified risks of infectious complications in cases of catheterization of the urinary tract using an electronic medical record were purposefully assessed.
