- Abstract
Basing on the frequent occurrence of cyber violence on social media platforms, this paper standing upon the foundations of “Theory of Reasoned Action” to explore the behavioral motivation of the “Xiao Xiang Paradise” community of the Douban group to implement cyber violence from two aspects of “attitudes” and “subjective norms”. The study found that the purpose of cyber violence bullies is not purely to attack the victim, but to meet their needs for self – presentation, social group identity and the common result of the homogenization of public opinion caused by the choice of subcultural groups.
