Abstract

Community correction is the non-imprisonment and with the development of work of community correction, Social forces participating in community correction for juvenile delinquents has drawn wide attention in recent years. Participation of social forces in community correction work for juvenile delinquents is of great significance for juvenile delinquents to return to society after the education correction, which is beneficial to enhance the correction effect. Also, it has been proved that it can effectively reduce juvenile recidivism rate and maintain the stability of our society. This paper takes Ya’an community correction work as an example. On the basis of investigation, this paper puts forward four suggestions on the problems of social forces participating in the juvenile correction work in this city, such as promoting the change of public concept, promoting the diversification of social forces’ participation, establishing the encouragement mechanism of social participation, and strengthening the participation of social forces in rural areas.
