- Abstract
Reduplication is a pervasive phenomenon across human languages, and it has long been an area of significant linguistic interest. This paper compares reduplicates in English and Chinese from aspects of morphological structure, semantic properties and pragmatic functions. It aims to provide some suggestions for second language learning and teaching.
