- Abstract
This paper is an attempt to reveal the major achievements of the comparative philological Slavonic-Germanic research conducted separately in six European countries during the last 20 years (1998-2018). The purpose of the paper is to show the main tendencies in the field of translation studies, based on the comparison of two language groups: Germanic and Slavonic. Using the bibliographical approach and synchronizing their efforts, the co-authors pointed out the special sides in each national area of translation studies.
