- Abstract
In recent years, the elective curriculum reform for humanistic quality in university has been a hot and focused issue in the academic field of China. It is of great value to explore the elective curriculum reform for humanistic quality in Chinese university for cultivating the core competences of undergraduate. Using the scientific research methods such as literature analysis and historical analysis to review the historical process and analyze the historical experience of the elective curriculum reform for humanistic quality. On this basis, this paper attempts to put forward a series of measures for deepening the elective curriculum reform for humanistic quality, aiming at “taking history as a mirror”, improving the cultural consciousness of Chinese contemporary undergraduate, cultivating their core qualities, and promoting the overall quality of the Chinese nation.
