Abstract

Blockchain, as a new technology with decentralization, immutability and traceability, not only solves some of the pain points of traditional industries, but also promotes business model transformation and reshapes trust. At present, the scale of cross-border payments is increasing. However, there are many shortcomings in traditional cross-border trade, and technological breakthroughs are urgently needed. Blockchain technology has a natural match with cross-border payments and can solve the existing problems. Based on the summary of the cross-border payment models and their shortcomings, this paper analyzes the application modes and advantages of cross-border payment based on blockchain technology, then further proposes the application of blockchain technology to cross-border payment constraints.
