- Abstract
The purpose of college accounting education is to train accounting professionals who have a combination of theoretical foundation and practice. It has always been a topic of common concern to the education and practice communities. Because the environment of education and practice is very different, it is necessary to make timely adjustments and innovations by changes in the social and economic environment. In this study, we applied the literature analysis method and Bereday’s comparative education research method to three universities in Shenzhen University, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and Zhaoqing University. The study found that the main differences are in the planning of general and professional courses, including accounting professional knowledge and skills, business and management knowledge, information applications, and personality traits. In addition to making up for the lack of related literature in the past, the research results can also be used as a mirror for schools to plan the field of accounting majors in the future.
