- Abstract
According to the characteristics of Spatial Periodicity of fibers, wool and cashmere can be identified automatically by digital image processing technology. Fiber images were collected by Image acquisition devices and saved in computer. Then, fiber information like diameter, surface scale height and scale thickness was extracted by Image processing algorithms to analyze and detect the fibers. Results show false rate of detection decreases much when probability multiplication applied.
