Abstract

The article first analyzes and discusses the OBE theory and the problems existing in the course of Electromagnetic Field and Electromagnetic Wave. Based on the results-oriented education (OBE), the article has carried out curriculum optimization reforms from three aspects: teaching objectives, teaching design and diversified assessment. It establishes an education model centered on cultivating students' abilities and improve the quality of teaching so as to achieve better learning outcomes and ability development for students. The results demonstrates that the direction of teaching reform is basically correct after comparing students’ scores for almost one year.
