- Abstract
With the popularization of higher education and the continuous deepening of higher education reform, the employment situation of normal universities’ students majoring in mathematics has become extremely severe. This paper objectively analyzes the current status of employment, such as the gradual adjustment of the national enrollment policy and the socialization of Teacher’s Qualifications Certificate Exam as well the outmoded employment concepts of normal universities’ students majoring in mathematics, resulting in their difficulty to adapt to the current employment. Meanwhile, combined with the dilemma encountered by normal universities’ students majoring in mathematics in current employment, some problems in the cultivation and employment of normal universities’ students majoring in mathematics are discussed, including correcting normal universities’ students’ wrong employment concepts, strengthening the practical training and the teacher quality training.
