- Abstract
Geography is an important basic course for geographic information science major. According to the social needs and the characteristics of professional development and the design requirements of geography syllabus in China, geography teaching needs to improve the quality of teaching by reforming the course teaching. This paper has put forward reform ideas in teaching objectives, teaching contents, teaching methods, practical teaching, examination and assessment, further to promote the teaching reform of China's geography teaching in colleges and universities.
