Abstract

Since 20 century, Merger and Acquisition has become an instantaneous hot spot in China, given that it is one of the most important activities of asset allocation. Therefore, many scholars in China have conducted a large amount of surveys from different views. My study summarizes the extant related Chinese literature from the following five aspects, such as the characteristics of the acquirer, target company characteristics, M & A mode, afterwards management and the external environment. This study provides a clear framework to present the influential factors on the performance of M & A. In addition, it also points out the extant defects of researches and gives some advice to the academic field, which can provide the guidance to the further study.
