Abstract

The digital transformation in the realm of human resource (HR) management is a pivotal response to the burgeoning big data era. This paper examines the transition from traditional HR practices, characterized by manual operations and limited data utilization, to a modern, data-driven approach. The advent of digital tools has enabled HR departments to automate routine tasks, leverage predictive analytics, and engage in proactive talent management. The integration of AI and machine learning has further amplified HR’s capacity to analyze vast datasets, offering insights into workforce trends, enhancing recruitment processes, and personalizing employee development. However, with these advancements come challenges, such as ensuring data security and privacy, and the imperative for HR professionals to cultivate data literacy. The paper underscores the importance of strategic data management to safeguard sensitive employee information and the necessity for continuous training to equip HR with the analytical skills required in the digital age. The conclusion highlights the transformative impact of big data on HR, positioning it as a critical asset for organizational strategy and competitive advantage. As organizations navigate the complexities of the digital landscape, the strategic harnessing of big data in HR will be paramount for fostering a dynamic, innovative, and responsive workforce.
