Abstract

Strategic emerging industries are the new pillar and new track leading China's future development, and are the main fields to cultivate and develop new quality productivity. The consumer Price index (CPI) and the producer price index (PPI) are important economic indicators. This paper selects Zhanxin industry, CPI and PPI data released by authoritative channels in China from January 2021 to August 2024 for analysis. Innovatively, 20 industries in new industries were compared with CPI and PPI data to carry out trend, principal component and correlation empirical analysis, conduct stationary root analysis, and establish Almon prediction model, which is cutting-edge, targeted and practical. The study found that Zhanxin industry has a high correlation with CPI and PPI data, and most of the data have a positive interaction relationship, and a few have a negative impact relationship. The research specifically proposed that the development of new industries should do a good job in the investment and guarantee of electricity consumption in the secondary industry and residential electricity consumption, strengthen the supply and price guarantee of liquefied natural gas and natural gas, highlight the development of non-fuel oil products, pay attention to the security of raw coal and coal-bed methane, promote the green and low-carbon energy transformation, and improve the security guarantee ability of the industrial chain and supply chain. The study is of great significance to the implementation of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee to improve the strategic industry development policy and governance system, and to cultivate and develop new quality productivity.
