Abstract

In recent years, the situation in the construction industry has been extremely severe, with prominent issues such as market disorder, excessive “internal competition” in the industry, and “high debt, high leverage, and high risk” of enterprises, resulting in huge challenges for the construction industry. In this context, this article uses empirical analysis methods to deeply explore the impact of regional economy in the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle on the output value of the construction industry. The research results show that there is a significant strong correlation between the regional economy and the construction industry output value in the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle, with the impact of the secondary and tertiary industries on the construction industry output value being the most prominent, and its gray correlation degree is also the highest. At the same time, this article also conducts an in-depth analysis of the existing problems in the construction industry and proposes targeted countermeasures and suggestions.
