- Abstract
Human resource development has a significant impact on the performance and success of MSMEs. In addition, it is also a long-term investment that is very important for the sustainability and growth of MSMEs. This study examines the critical role of human resource planning and development strategy in improving the performance and competitiveness of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Dapur Leni, a culinary enterprise in Toboali, South Bangka Regency, Indonesia. Through a qualitative descriptive approach and survey of all employees, the research investigates effective human resource planning and development strategies. Key findings of this research highlight the significance of tailored training programs, competency development initiatives, motivational factors, and employee welfare in fostering a high-performing workforce. The study also addresses the challenges faced by MSMEs in HR management and proposes practical solutions. By implementing these strategies, MSMEs Dapur Leni can enhance its productivity, innovation, and market competitiveness, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
