- Abstract
In this article the notional, figurative and evaluative components of the concept of the "soul" in relation to how Internet statuses are composed in contemporary Russian culture is delved into. The analysis of the statuses about the soul show that the concept under consideration, being basic in contemporary Russian linguistic culture, has strong notional, figurative and evaluative components, which are closely intertwined.
