Abstract

As an independent film director, Woody·Allen’s strong sense of self and distinctive personal style can be found in his film. Although the absurd plot in his film makes us laugh out loudly, sentimental and tragic philosophical thought is shown behind jokes. “Crime and punishment” and “Existentialism” are often discussed in his film, and many leading characters in his film have contradictory factors, which seems to be the reflection of him.
