Abstract

For students majoring in theater, film and television performance in China, their emotional experience often comes from film and television works. When referring to or even copying other peoples’ sentiments in artworks for their own rehearsals, students’ performances will thus lack genuine feelings. In the rehearsals, actors should learn to practice their own cognition and look for heart touching emotional experiences in scripts, so as to stimulate vigorous enthusiasm for creation. Only by mastering scientific and reasonable rehearsal methods, can the actors mobilize the means of performance creation and lay a solid foundation for shaping characters on theater stage and for film and television.
