Results: ① class teaching was positively correlated with school identity, and had a significant positive predictive effect on school identity. ② Self-esteem plays a partial mediating role between adolescent school identity and class teaching. ③ The self-esteem of male and female students has some mediating effect between class teaching and school identity, but the effect of mediating effect of female students (51.2%) is greater than that of male students (39.8%). Conclusion: class teaching can attack the self-esteem of ordinary students and lead to the lack of school identity, and the influence effect of girls is greater.
