- Abstract
This paper introduces a novel approach for deploying an intrusion prevention solution hosted in the cloud, supporting the utilization of Security as a Service (SaaS) concept. Our approach aims to optimize costs and execution time associated with the implementation of the security solution. We have developed a comprehensive mathematical model underpinning our approach, along with performance evaluation, simulation and validation tests. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, with efficient cost and execution time measurement. This new approach holds promising prospects for enhancing on premise system security based on cloud environment, providing an economical and high-performing solution for enterprise against cyber intrusions.
