Abstract

3D geological modeling is an important means to visualize and express geological information, analyze and study geological distribution intuitively. Borehole data is the main data carrier in geological research. This paper presents a method to create 3D geological model with the help of ArcGIS software. The method performs modeling preprocessing on the Borehole data and used to build the 3D geological model of rock and surface on the basis of the method of spatial geography data processing, based on the method of Delaunay TIN and Voronoi Diagram-Thiessen Polygon. The results of modeling were visualized by ArcScene software.
