- Abstract
This paper presents a fault reconstruction scheme based on sliding mode observers for sensor and actuator faults detection and isolation for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems. A coordinate transformation is first designed for the output equation of the system followed by a first-order low-pass filter in order to convert the sensor faults into equivalent actuator faults. The original system then is transformed into three subsystems through linear transformation.
