- Abstract
A new control method based on disturbance observer (DOB) is proposed to control the integral processes with inverse response and dead time. The main contribution of this paper is that the optimal analytical result in terms of H2 for the set-point controller and the disturbance observer are provided. And only two parameters are to be tuned respectively to achieve the set-point tracking performance specification and input load disturbance rejection specification. Simulation examples illuminate the effectiveness of the proposed design procedure.
