- Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit various sectors, including the stock market where many people are hesitant to invest in stocks. Many industries have been affected by Covid-19, where since March 2020 the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in the Indonesia Stock Exchange has decreased because many investors sold their shares. But from the third week of May 2020 until the beginning of June 2020, it has shown an increase which indicates stock trading has begun to show improvement. This aims of the study is to analyze the factors that influence people to invest in. The independent variable used in this study is Product Knowledge and Perceived Risk, while the dependent variable is Investment Intention. The population in this study are stock investors in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was taken by using the purposive sampling technique by distributing the online questionnaires. The results show that product knowledge and perceived risk have a significant effect on the investment intention of stock investors in Indonesia.
