Abstract

One of the elementary school graduate competencies is the metacognitive skill. Meta cognitive skills have something to do with the extent to which one can identify his/her own strengths and weaknesses, which are associated with the so called self-regulated learning (SRL). This research aims to determine the factors of SRL among fifth-graders. This is ex post facto research employing a quantitative approach. It used questionnaires as the research instrument, the result of which was then analyzed using the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Findings of the research suggest that motivation, self-efficacy, and goal orientation are factors that affect SRL
