- Abstract
The rapid development of science and technology in today's world has enabled us to enjoy unprecedented achievements of material civilization. However, at the same time, the development of science and technology has brought us a series of problems. Among them, the ecological environment has become the most serious problem in the world, and the ecological crisis has become more and more serious. The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly states that the government should speed up the reform of the ecological civilization system and build a wild China, which fully reflect the seriousness and urgency of ecological problems. Looking back at Chinese traditional culture, Taoism contains rich ecological thoughts. The excavation of its ecological ethics thought has important modern enlightenment for us to deal with the ecological crisis.
