- Abstract
The "Samurai Trilogy" directed by Yoji Yamada represents a type of different samurai film overturning traditional samurai film rules and reflecting new values in a new era. This paper intends to analyze unique features of "Samurai Trilogy" from three aspects: character image, plot handling and value orientation.
