Investments carried out by various companies in Indonesia are expected to play a role in the efforts of Indonesia's economic growth, which is currently one of the sectors that are excellent investment is the palm oil plantation sector. However, it was found that the increase in investment of palm oil plantations on large scale was not always linear with the fulfillment of indigenous community rights, especially in West Kalimantan as the object in this research. This research is a normative juridical research, where the data used in this study include legislation, documents and article relating to the research problem. The result of this study revealed it was found that although the existence of indigenous community has been recognized, land conflicts between the indigenous community and palm oil plantation companies can still be found. In connection with this, considering that land issues are cross-sectoral issues, the approach should be carried out in an integrated and comprehensive.
